Yomi Ajao is Principal & Chief Consulting Officer with COPE Health Solutions and the President of Analytics for Risk Contracting, LLC. He is a leader focused on health care transformation and total cost of care management with over 20 years of experience leading care delivery optimization by leveraging population health data analytics. Mr. Ajao has significant experience in the formation of Provider Sponsored Health Plans, Management Service Organizations, Clinically Integrated Networks, Pharmacy Benefit Management and Care Model Redesign. He is also a Lean Master and a Master Black Belt and has deployed Performance Improvement frameworks in different health care settings. As President of Analytics for Risk Contracting, LLC and Senior Vice President, Mr. Ajao is involved in helping organizations to achieve optimal value and performance in risk-based arrangements.

Prior to joining COPE Health Solutions, Mr. Ajao was a partner with Africa Performance Improvement Institute (APII) where he led the deployment of a pioneering Pharmacy Benefit Management platform in West Africa. Before APII, he was the Senior Director of Evolent Health where he successfully led the implementation of provider Sponsored health plans, clinically integrated networks and population health platforms.

Mr. Ajao has also held multiple leadership roles with Hospital Corporation of America and Deloitte Consulting, where he led clinical application base RFP and vendor selection process. He also led the transition of product development and support to an agile deployment approach. This included the deployment of multiple EMRs and other systems into various care settings, including ED, inpatient and outpatient centers.

Mr. Ajao earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering from New Jersey Institute of Technology, his master’s degree in Computer Information System from Boston University and an Executive Certificate in Strategy and Product Innovation from MIT Sloan School of Management.
