Stephania Olamendi is a Director of Workforce Operations at COPE Health Solutions. She joined the firm in 2015 to build, implement, expand and manage a workforce pipeline program for one of the largest non-profit health systems in California. In her current role, Ms. Olamendi supports clients across Southern and Central California as well as Washington State including public community hospitals, private hospitals, non-for profit health systems and community ambulatory centers.

As a Director, Ms. Olamendi works closely with hospital and health system executive leadership to develop and implement health care workforce programs that align with short and long term workforce goals, complimenting overall care delivery and population health strategies. Ms. Olamendi plays a leading role in building workforce programs focused on care navigation, care coordination and preventative care. She leads the development of program curriculum used to train future health care professionals on topics fundamental to care management and population health, preparing them for success in a value-based purchasing environment.

Ms. Olamendi also co-manages the operations of COPE Health Solutions’ Workforce Consulting Service Line and leads new business development and expansion. She oversees multidisciplinary teams to manage and expand existing programs focused on providing field experience to prospective health care professionals while supporting clinical teams drive patient experience and operational excellence.

Prior to her position at COPE Health Solutions, Ms. Olamendi received her Master of Public Health from the Fielding School of Public Health at University of California, Los Angeles. In her previous roles Ms. Olamendi  worked closely to develop community-based projects addressing social determinants of health through both qualitative analyses and research on Los Angeles’ immigrant health care needs. Ms. Olamendi has a growing interest in exploring the intersection between community environment and health.

Ms. Olamendi brings a social justice lens to her work, with strong knowledge in care coordination, care management population health. From her life experience, Ms. Olamendi has developed a passion for advocating and elevating the health needs of underrepresented communities and empowering the next generation of health care professionals to improve health care delivery.
