Ronda Hefton RN, BSN, MBA is a Vice President with COPE Health Solutions. She is committed to the delivery of efficient high-quality care incorporating strong physician engagement and hardwired processes. Ms. Hefton most recently served as clinical consultant for a start-up multi-state Health Plan. She has facilitated clinical, governance, organizational, quality, contracting and network operation advisory services related to the development and operation of successful clinically integrated health care programs. Her experience building and implementing value based care/physician alignment strategies has included single and multi-hospital system clinical integration programs, academic medical centers, payer population health programs, Pioneer and MSSP ACOs, population health “care management” programs, cross continuum quality programs and IT solutions to support the strategy employed. She has served network systems in Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, southern California, Virginia, Florida, Kentucky, Tennessee, Georgia, North Dakota, Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, North Carolina, and a suburban Chicago hospital.

Prior to her clinical consulting role, Ms. Hefton served as Assistant Vice President Integrated Care and Value Based Care Programs for a global healthcare IT firm. While Interim Director of Operations for a large health system and academic medical center Integrated Network, she led the growth from a single market to a state-wide CIN. She has also championed implementation of electronic and comprehensive quality improvement and business analytic solutions that span the continuum of care.

In her 26-year career, Ms. Hefton has enjoyed diverse clinical, administrative, and consulting experience. She provided bedside care in Neonatal and Pediatric Intensive Care Units. Her acute care administrative experience has included serving as Director of Quality for an acute care facility, coordination of a Fetal Heart Program, and clinical management of Neonatal Intensive Care Units

Ms. Hefton holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Lubbock,Texas and a Master of Business degree from Amberton University in Garland,Texas.
