Isabelle Merlin-Madrigal

Isabelle Merlin-Madrigal joined COPE Health Solutions in June 2019 as a Program Manager at Kaiser Permanente Irvine. In this role, Ms. Merlin-Madrigalis responsible for the development of the Health Scholars program, which includes overseeing program operations, recruitment of talented scholars, training new scholars on the US health care system and comfort care skills, and providing professional development opportunities to ensure scholars succeed as health care professionals.

Prior to joining COPE Health Solutions, Ms. Merlin-Madrigal worked as a Lead Facilitator at the Team Up! ropes course. She was responsible for leading the planning and execution of a curriculum that promoted team building within diverse groups. Ms. Merlin-Madrigal had the opportunity of providing a joyful learning experience that leads to a better understanding of oneself and working with others.

Ms. Merlin-Madrigal graduated from the University of California Irvine with a bachelor’s in Public Health Policy and a minor in Chicano Latino Studies. During her time at UCI, she was a research assistant with The (Anti-) Soil Lead Project which aimed at determining the lead content in the local community in order to create a safe and healthy living environment for residents.

Ms. Merlin-Madrigal aims to provide the opportunity for future health care professionals to gain hands on experience while being a part of a strong and supportive community.
