“The Clinical Care Extenders are enthusiastic [young leaders], trained to be effective in the many hospital departments we have at Riverside Community Hospital. They literally extend the care and compassion the staff provides to our patients and are a welcome part of our workforce. They provide support to patients and staff who learn from their sharing and giving. They have been our eyes, ears and hands in special projects, making a difference with each activity. Thank you to the staff and leaders at COPE Health Solutions for their farsightedness. I expect we will gain in long term a recruitment of health care providers as a result of these efforts.”
